I had some slight issues with some weapon combinations as the game would start lagging quite a bit, nothing that was too frustrating and besides that, the gameplay was really smooth and enjoyable.
These two are the playable characters, and you can select which one to play on the train, although other characters will appear later.
Like similar roguelite games, you can sometimes choose between two paths They feature icons that show what you may expect, such as bones representing basic stages with enemies, a fork where you can obtain free things, and special areas where you can discover specific weapons, such as a feather in a chicken coop.
I also want to shout out the art style, which is both cute and funny at the same time; there's something reminiscent of the classic Newgrounds games about it, which is absolutely a positive in my book.
The game is well-balanced, I played in "normal" and I first thought the game was a bit too easy, but the last levels showed me I was wrong.
Going between my Steam Deck and various Windows machines, Cloud Save is a must for me.
