What players think
The recurring themes across 159 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The fights have a good amount of trial and error in not just learning their patters but learning what to do to deal with each of the opponents moves, but the visuals are clear and snappy and its never a question of what the enemy is doing.
I used a controller and wanted to map the punches to the triggers with the corresponding direction as a I felt it would be more intuitive than the default input mapping.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. One more theme was raised by fewer than 4 sampled reviews and is not shown.
