The scope of the game as a whole works well for the narrative; I often find stories like this running either too long or too short for what they’re trying to do, but I sincerely believe TPOF is the perfect length.

The DLC is a fabulous addition to this game, and the reason I love it. it feels like it's trying to appeal to BTD fans, and it definitely does with its more BTD-like playstyle and return of an old friend.

the whole strategy part of the game is very unforgiving, you have to pick what to do down to just WAITING, it's super complicated compared to most other games like this i've played. the stories and characters are also super cool and have awesome designs; 10/10 recommend, very much worth the suffering
