While the first game felt like a core with all the fetch quests and boring races, which made me lose interest after 2 hours of playing... this one here kept my interest until the main story end and after.

It also expanded on types of gameplay and the use of side quests outside of just unlocking cosmetics, which I feel adds a nice sense of progress if you take the time to do them as they unlock.
