In short, Armored Brigade II is everything the first game was on launch but with full 3D graphics and many small changes that add up to a significantly more engaging, immersive and authentic Cold War Real Time Tactics experience.
Still, I love the cold war unit roster and combat, and the command system where you're issuing significantly time-delayed orders and need a good battle plan going in was a novel and compelling gameplay experience.
Great campaigns and missions, fantastic unit and country selection with a massive amount of vehicles from the 60s to the 90s, great mission and campaign generator with a massive amount of replayability.
To anyone interested, the game runs out of the box in Linux via Proton, and probably runs in a Steamdeck although is not a game I imagine playing on a handeld console.
