XD First, on the story, I found this to have a very interesting, unique adaptation.

Bright, colorful artwork works well as a contrast to the gruesome depictions of violence and horror, and while one does kind of wish they would have drawn out the brutal descriptions, there is something interesting about having to imagine the scenes in your head, especially with the squirm-inducing bone-breaking sound effects.
