What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The game makes smart use of the various powers and weapons you get, with most of them being usable for both combat and progression, rather than being exclusively for one or the other.
Anyway, the art style and hand-drawn animation are smooth and captivating, and really were the whole reason I was drawn to it in the first place.
The voice acting of the remake/overkill edition was also a nice touch, and it helped to bring most of the characters to life, although some actors and characters still felt a bit blended.
