What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
As of writing this review I just wrapped up with my first playthrough, and loved every second of it.
In addition to the visuals, the soundtrack is a nice accompaniment, but what stands out most about the sound is that the title features voice acting almost entirely, and I must say that the actors did an exquisite job.
I see myself included in the first ones, and it was thanks to having experimented with its gameplay that Lil' Guardsman caught my attention when I was recommended its demo, which was a nice surprise.
+ The game's visuals and artstyle is great, consistent, and used to lots of comedic effect.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. One more theme was raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and is not shown.
