The gameplay is awesome, the graphics and sound are classic and can never get old and the story is intriguing and makes you want to keep on fighting and help the rebels win the war.

One aspect I personally appreciate is stronger mission and map design--the maps and objectives are more unique and tailor a wider range of experiences, "challenges," and enjoyment, whereas the second's sandbox feeling lacks character.

When you're actually in a battle though the game is very exciting to play, alongside a ranking up system with Steam achievements to match your rank the game can make it feel rewarding to excel in combat.
