What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Instead of relying constantly on cheap jump scares, the game builds fear through anticipation and uncertainty, making even quiet moments feel stressful.
However, the procedural design and co-op focus help mitigate this by creating unpredictable scenarios.
The whole thought of bringing Story into every investigation brings some fresh air into the genre as every run truly
The class system is pretty neat : from crashing through doors to throwing charms, these classes add flavor in a very simple but effective way (the system is not very deep so you can jump right into it without much headscratching).
However, it does get a little repetitive but when you bump up the difficulty, it still offers a good challenge.
The atmosphere is effective, with strong use of lighting, sound design, and environmental storytelling to create a constant sense of unease.
