What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
While running Arma 3 or Arma Reforger with mods certainly requires a capable CPU and GPU, neither requires an RTX 4000 or 5000 series card just to make the game playable or maintain a decent FPS.
I'm not sure if that's just because I've been lucky, or if OPERATOR just did a good enough job of in delivering satisfying gameplay that even the people who HAVE these weapons just don't find using them as enjoyable as actually playing the game -- which is refreshing!
VERY satisfying gunplay, more detailed objectives and interactions, AI difficulty options that can be tailored to your liking after completing an operation once, selectable lobbies (with host's ping estimated in ms) which can be named, PvP, a training area, Friendly Fire options, Day and Night versions of each Operation, and detailed controls (they can be a bit overwhelming, at first, but you quickly realize that there's a logic to how everything works -- custom keybinds also offer a LOT of unique and creative input control options to allow you to tailor your setup to your absolute liking).
Unity 6 is a well-optimized engine; however, it seems the game was launched too quickly without sufficient testing or proper optimization.
(3) Movement and Gunplay feels super immersive, guns feel and sound good, movement feels smooth but clunky in a good way (you're an operator carrying like 50lb+ of gear what do you expect?).
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
