What players think
The recurring themes across 103 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Far from being a simple reskin of Wolfenstein 3D, Only Lead Can Stop Them features nine weapons and umpteen different enemies across three geometrically diverse episodes.
It has an excellent soundtrack that is perfect for the game and the action is good fun, with levels designed for exploring and wandering at your own pace, which really gets me thinking Warcry wanted to make a true spiritual sequel to Wolfenstein 3D.
HOWEVER the core gameplay of Only Lead Can Stop Them is still fun especially if you have any love or nostalgia for Wolfenstein 3-D.
The textures and the items also look fine, and so do the weapons... when they are lying on the ground, that is.
