As each skirmish plays out, you gain experience points and unlock new abilities, giving you a sense of gradual growth that keeps the combat loop satisfying even as it remains simple.

it has quite the wide roster of heroes and companions to choose from, and the few campaigns that are in the game are good and has decent bossfights aswell.

in the graphics department, like every ironhide production, the game is absolutely gorgeous to look at. every sprite and animation are so lively, it really shows the mastery they accumulated from doing this artstyle for over a decade 👌

Audio design fares better: the soundtrack combines epic fantasy orchestrations with playful motifs, while the voice work—though sparse—adds personality to characters and enemies alike.
