The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Your choices often feel impactful and meaningful (even though sometimes the game is just very good at making you think they are), the characters are memorable and well written, and there’s also a fair amount of genuinely funny humor sprinkled throughout the experience.
⭐ TL;DR: A very well-made interactive thriller with strong retro-80s vibes, excellent voice acting, and meaningful choices.
GAMEPLAY/GAMEPLAY LOOP: Interacting with the environment, gathering clues, answering calls, and making choices is pretty much all you’ll do mechanically.
Killer Frequency went from an interesting game with mediocre voice acting and visuals in it's demo phase to one of the most well polished, atmospheric horror games of all time.
This game style has potential, but I feel like they're trying to be Firewatch way too hard and missing the charm that made firewatch so endearing.

No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 4 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
