SURE it's tedious and annoying at times, but unique gameplay mechanics charm is still there. so do what you will with that.
There are many things to like here for sure, like the gorgeous pixel graphics, which reminds me of the classic, amazing LucasArts games with their stellar animation (Full Throttle, Sam and Max, The Dig, Monkey Island, you name it).
