What players think
The recurring themes across 115 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
I came for a game about using a Buster Sword, and stayed for the rather deep story lore and heartfelt tale about an owlman adopting a human.
I don't think i've ever played a metroidvania with worse progression than gigasword, and i've played over a hundred metroidvania's.
The soundtrack complements these visuals with memorable compositions that shift comfortably between quiet exploration and intense boss encounters, helping each major moment leave a lasting impression.
The graphics are solid pixel art fare.
I enjoy the upgrade a progression system that keeps things fresh and i can't wait to keep playing this on my steam deck when I have more time.

Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
