The soundtrack is less memorable, the king has less bite, the in-game physics are less polished.
Since movement is 1 of the 2 core game mechanics (the other being picking items up to get larger), it may be a deal breaker for replayability for me.
I don't want them to remove it, but I wish you could progress the dialogue with the trigger buttons so you do not have to remove your thumb from the analog stick to hit the face button.
Competitive multiplayer is the best it's been, especially being online, though I am sad that We Love Katamari's co-op is missing.
Outside of the gameplay, the games offer an amazing soundtrack, incredibly charming visuals (levels are often scattered with lots of silly and comical things), and a story that makes you smile with a wide cast of quirky characters.
The game seems too easy.
