What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
I thought the story was great, a lot of good twists and angles, lot of emotions, and the new/altered power you have seem pretty cool, once it gets into it.
It looks beautiful, the facial animations are the best so far, and the new mechanic was fairly fun.
Sound, music and voice acting in a game like this is at least as important as the visuals and this is also really good in this game.
This game is way overhated, the soundtrack is great and the story is really well written, everything you would want out of a Life is Strange game.
What truly elevates the experience is the writing, which manages to honor the history of a beloved character while introducing a vibrant new cast that feels essential to her journey.
