What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
I really wanted to play this game since it's gorgeous and the story so far is great, but the game itself is unbearably buggy and it won't stop crashing.
The graphics are very pretty, the atmosphere is stunning, the character designs are very charming.
However, it is such a pleasant little game to fill up an hour or so of gameplay with delightful characters and artwork.
It has such a lovely aesthetic, and a wonderful soundtrack, and I think the characters and designs are super cute and fun!
The only negatives I saw were little things (again...a student project) such as: poor controller support, more load times than I'd like, the main character movement could use some tweaking, and the hit-boxes on the player character and objects around the game are a bit too....
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No themes split opinion in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 3 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
