I was well into them by the time I'd finished the story, because they had something special and interesting about them too.
Another thing I just really did not understand was why the devs thought it would be a great idea to not explain things such as interactability with objects, and only giving the player general tips & hints after completing hidden secret areas that require a decent amount of progression already.
