What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Story: While I understand that in most games of this genre, the plot often serves just to support the gameplay, the story in EO is actually very enjoyable.
The map controls moving over to pc takes a little getting used to but they somehow made drawing on the map relatively painless either through the right stick on your controller + triggers to select things, or preferably just simply using the touch screen on the steam deck or mouse to draw since they worked in kb and mouse controls.

Graphics and Art Style: While I don't think anyone expects much in terms of graphics when playing a first-person dungeon crawler, the game runs smoothly.
Combat is good, levelling up feels good, visual design is good, map marker system is really cool and helpful, challenge is good yet feels fair.
Music: Yuzo Koshiro has done an amazing job with this OST.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 2 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
