I feel like the game offers a refreshing take on the roguelike genre, focusing on a fluid and incredibly fun loop that prioritizes symmetrical progression over punishing difficulty.

What starts as a simple fishing loop slowly unfolds into a surprisingly layered story involving ancient civilizations, sea people, corporate greed, and ecological themes that never feel preachy.

Visually and auditorily, the game is a triumph of polish and atmosphere, utilizing a vibrant pixel art style that masterfully navigates between humor, "faux-horror," and genuine beauty.

The progression is incredibly satisfying. i loved upgrading everything: my weapons, diving equipment, employees, farms, crops, and pretty much every system in the game.

The sound design is peerless, creating a submerged world that feels alive through meticulous foley and environmental sounds.

A really fun game to play while unwinding, I was playing it on my Steam Deck (runs flawlessly btw) and I was having so much fun.
