As for the gameplay, I do feel that the procedural level design fits the game well.
It does not attempt to modernize its inspirations beyond recognition, nor does it chase spectacle or narrative excess.
As a big fan of retro dungeon crawlers and FPS games, I decided to give this game a chance.
