In any case, the game is a lot of fun, and I'd be happy to pay more for a truly roguelike sequel, based around the same mechanics and aesthetics, but with more variety in weapons, powers and enemies - and, crucially, procedurally generated levels.

the combat is very fun and original. i found myself holding my breath during tough encounters. and the progression is good too, with a new weapon almost every level. i get the impression that the game is short, which explains the price. but for those looking for something new, this throwback is worth trying.
