Gameplay feels like a slower version of the Extreme Versus series, so it wasn't hard for me to adapt to the balancing act of switching weapons for reloading, and boost management.
5) Surprisingly decent visuals, solid framerate
The only thing I have against this game is that, for whatever reason, they decided to completely cut the multiplayer VS mode out, which is a shame as I would love to experience battling against friends and strangers alike.
Oh, yeah, upon start-up of the game, a message saying "Use a controller for best experience" pops up, but I found that to not necessarily be the case.
used to love grindy portable coop games like this when I was a teenager. a shame about this version not actually having the coop but it's absolutely my jam.
For context, I have 100%ed the game over a 30+ hour run, with just over half that time being played on my Steam Deck OLED.
