TL;DR: Akimbot is a fantastic action-adventure 3D platformer that, while it can be easy to compare it's obvious influences to legendary PS2 platformers, Akimbot carves it's own unique gameplay loop and does it quite well, with only a few minor flaws that prevent it from being a perfect 10/10 for me.
