Mostly the same from DD1 which is very nice as the turn base gameplay very fun to play with and somewhat easier in terms of difficulty compared to DD1.

The overall story great with many other story arcs within just as, if not, better to see through either a companion/npc's personal questline, special events and new to this game Guild questlines which have a very interesting and unique storyline centered around the guild you join depending on your class.

A big win is how romancing recruitable characters (expect one) don't need to be romanced to unlock their unique class so you don't have to break their heart once you get them lol.
