I also think the developers have done a great job of keeping the dialogue as neutral or period-appropriate as they could; nothing jolts me out of story immersion more than games inserting modern language or anachronistic attitudes/values.
The voice acting also sounds really strong, even if I can't understand it! :-)
tentative recommendation, I hope the dev keeps making stuff because the premise and art style of this game is really solid!
I really enjoyed the German language with English subtitles, I liked the historical aspect (even if it was ultimately pointless) and the controls were intuitive...
