Echo Point Nova

I find the open world nature of this game to be a very ballsy and well executed idea, the hoverboard is an extremely fun traversal tool and you can build ridiculous speed in this game and blast through tons of areas.

A lot of people like to describe this game by saying "titanfall meets this" or "doom meets that" but I find this game to feel and play like no other game I have before, I clearly see the influences from other games in the movement, gunplay, and enemy design but none of it ever feels like multiple games smashed together, it has an odd sense of cohesion

If you are looking for a gripping narrative you can look elsewhere.

Optimization is also great, not a lot of frame drops and relatively stable on to my knowledge the highest settings (without rtx, but with a better gpu im sure itd run really easy, not that ive tried it. On low im sure this game can run on a toaster) had some launch bugs occasionally but it was mostly an issue of trying to force myself into a friend's lobby

I love how the difficulty curve responds to the player rather than the narrative; it’s so essential, you feel like a badass—even when you fall flat on your face.

The coop in this game also works very well, little to no desync issues despite the crazy speeds you can reach in this game and while coop makes the game substantially easier than it already was it is still very fun traveling the huge world with some friends
