What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The plot is interesting, but the controls are as if they were developed by aliens who had only seen a keyboard in pictures.
yo this game is kinda dumb but in a good way. super cheap too, like pocket change. it's a really short roguelike shooter, you can blitz through a run in a minute and a half or maybe ten minutes if the random levels are being jerks. the art style and tunes are actually pretty neat. but man, the gameplay can be a total headache. cover mechanics are busted sometimes, and then you get these "strong" enemies that just insta-gib you. feels a bit like a student made it or something. getting 100% completion is a real grind and mostly just down to rng. but hey, for what it costs, it's totally worth it just for the trading cards and achievements.
The soundtrack is one of the strongest parts of the game.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 4 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
