The gameplay is brutally simple yet deeply punishing - every move counts, and a single mistake means starting over.

The game's also deceptively unforgiving and makes use of a combination of luck and skill to keep it somewhat engaging, and also throws you back to the very title screen of the game if you dare make a mistake and die because of it.

The visuals are clean and appealing, and the overall vibe is fun without being overwhelming.

The plot is interesting, but the controls are as if they were developed by aliens who had only seen a keyboard in pictures.

The good: Immediate arcade gameplay, almost instant restarting, simple controls with a high skill requirement, a strong industrial soundtrack, a distinctive visual identity, procedural layouts, no grinding or filler, a very low price, Steam achievements, trading cards and working Proton compatibility.

The music is fast, mechanical and aggressive, and it matches the speed of the combat perfectly.
