What players think
The recurring themes across 45 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
This is a neutral review: gameplay of Desperate: Vladivostok is frantic and fun, but it is a standing wave shooter, that has nothing new to offer compared to 2016-17 titles like Superhot or Space Pirate Trainer.
Gunplay is ok, bullet hell works well with slo-mo and room-scale only locomotion, campaign provides a lot of different arenas, and it is satisfying to shoot hordes of enemies that die from one bullet each.
