What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The Last Flame is a delightful surprise in the crowded roguelike auto-battler genre, blending deep strategy, endless build variety, and satisfying progression into a package that’s hard to put down.
Pro's: Addictive, graphics, synergies, character selection x65 endgame, item combos leading to degenerate builds, strategy placement.
Haven't played many other "Auto Battle" games, only other I've played was multiplayer, and it was decent fun, though I'd say I prefer this solo version more, it works quite nicely in a single player format.
The game is Steam Deck playable, though minor tweaks may be needed for optimal performance.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 4 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
