Touhou Lensed Night Sky, Kaseigai

Finally, the “roguelike” nature of LNS lends itself to plenty of replayability, just so you can see what new kind of silly, busted build you can unleash on your foes.

Whilst I will refrain from mentioning any specific story beats here, all I can say is that the story is a genuine love letter to Touhou fans.

With the exception of the stage 4 theme that is a miss for me, personally, I love the soundtrack in this game.

But this is in no way a criticism, as I feel the sheer difficulty combined with the crap ton of items just adds extra replayability to the game, which is cool!

The rogue-lite aspects of the game mends surprisingly well with the Danmaku gameplay and the playable characters are blank slates to be built upon (In terms of gameplay).

From the point the demo was released, I fell in love with the art style, the dialogue, the way these complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ weirdos talk, and the simple yet satisfying gameplay.
