Hi-Fi RUSH

Through wonderfully written story, expressive and relatable characters, set in a world that feels almost like an abstract representation of our own which in and of its own is very relatable too.

It's through the mechanics, which are clearly readable and very much learnable to the point where achieving "mastery" is always within reach and the game makes it explicitly clear with each failed attempt.

Take it easy, take your time to enjoy the game, the combat, the visuals, the soundtrack, the animations and the voicelines.

Sounds is crisp, with all the assorted sound effects popping and attacks sounding as you'd expect a guitar on metal to sound.

The art style is solid as well, not incredible, but solid and identifiable.

It's legitimately a fun 3D beat 'em up and the difficulty level really hits that sweet spot of "hard enough to challenge, easy enough that you don't worry about handing the controller to kids." But the rest of the game has to be top-notch because the characters in the game are insufferable to the point of making this almost unplayable when you have to listen to them talk.
