Summun Aeterna (SA) hits all the best qualities of Roguelikes: cool and meaningful/reliable global progression to power up your character (The Dark Lord!), dynamic gameplay, meaningful customization, gorgeous art style, fun music, and the good type of grind that feels fun and not like a hassle or time waster.

I liked the graphics, animations, sound effects, but disliked the music, too intrusive, so I turned it off completely after an hour or so.
It could be an optimization issue on my part or with the game itself.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 2 more themes were each raised by fewer than 5 sampled reviews and are not shown.
