What players think
The recurring themes across 161 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The story is warm, wholehearted, and easy to connect with.
While the visuals are amazing, that's about it what is stunning.
But enough of that and let's focus on the actual gameplay - for me it all worked seamlessly without glitches or bugs which given how early I played after release says a lot about the amount of testing that must have gone on.
The art direction is simply stellar which is why i gladly picked up the deluxe edition which included the art book as well as the soundtrack.
The gameplay is nothing too difficult with some light platforming and basic environmental puzzles.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No themes split opinion in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
