What players think
The recurring themes across 196 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Overall a 5/10 game, you can feel the jank in the cutscenes and the gameplay the moment you start, its ok in the fun and potential combos from the skill tree but overall it feels terrible.
Music is not the strong point of this game, but the artstyle is amazing, maybe an improvement to the character meshes and textures would be awesome.
It's what you'd expect, with some metroidvania aspects that could be improved, most notably the map with teleporting to one of your safe spots, as everything on the controller will snap you to their icon, and when the icon is in between 3-4 things, it's a pain to have to zoom in (one action) and move the camera (2nd action) very slowly, rather than being able to do it all at once quickly and efficiently, because they both cancel out each other.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
