love the art, environment, and atmosphere and penelope and her story are super cute ♥ the need to balance hunger & exploration is a fun idea but needs a bit of tweaking. the hunger meter especially goes down way too quickly so that it's difficult to do anything but charge ahead as quickly as possible without giving time to really explore the vast environment. controls also do feel a bit clunky (jump only going straight up, movement feels slippery, sniff animation being unskippable) and the way forward is not always clear which makes moving forward and managing hunger more difficult.
