The character roster is extremely varied and has a lot of charm, from what I've played so far no one feels exactly the same which is great.

Animations having lots of weight, the moves feel impactful, special effects help the graphics pop, the way the screen zooms in dramatically when you hit an opponent with a decisive blow, the perfect shielding, and air dodging is all of that reminiscent of Smash.
