I think the best part of the looks is the lighting.
After significant experience with the Switch version, some limited experience with the 3DS version, and the little time i've now spent on this PC version, i would say that it's a decent game for the price if you plan to only play this game online, the single-player is something that's always plagued this "series", even on the 3DS, and i get that it's supposed to be part of the appeal, but i still have some suggestions for the developer, and some that i would call requirements for this game to stay relevant for years to come.
There are so many things to do, and it leads to lots of replayability.
Improved multiplayer, i would like a more expanded multiplayer with a lot of options for the server host specifically, like renaming your server, the ability to keep your equipment upon death, the ability to turn on and off certain survival elements such as thirst and hunger, locating players on the map, keeping zombies or not (in case it's a PVP server), or in the case of a survival server, turning off PVP, this could also be noted in the server list, i'll make an example.
I believe it is quite an improvement over the 3DS version with quests to achieve, and a clear narrative/storyline as to how and where you begin.
