What players think
The recurring themes across 218 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Combined with replay value in achievements for every difficulty, and the general fun of exploring, you're not buying a small or unpolished game here.
Some pros of the game are its good level design, the ways the movement evolves, i did enjoy the story despite its repeating nature as i only started speeding through the dialogue towards the end, and once you get used to it, the spell system is a good idea.
Jumping while swinging either got improved / fixed or my new controller works better, since I didn’t have nearly as many problems in my latest playthrough.
I like the sound/graphics, although I feel like they could have done with some additional voice-acting, particularly for cutscenes (but they may have had limited access to official voice actors for this purpose, perhaps).
The graphics are great, the sprite animations and character movement feel quite good.
