Cut to the Core

Being able to read like you would a comic, all the while benefiting from a real, contextual ambiance is something I never experienced before and that added a lot to this story (yeah yeah visual novels, but I hate visual novels aside from a few exceptions. Plus no interactions here. Let's move on).

ᅠᅠThe visuals: we've got a comic book aesthetic going on here, and it's great at face value – looks fresh and neat – but it doesn't jibe at all with the typical trait of visual novels where every character has four or five sprites to show different emotions and that's about it.

ᅠᅠThe first impression this novel made on me was pretty good: such a stylish, terrifying main menu, chilling fluorescent-lamp sound effects and the music in the background, head-bobbing and utterly disturbing at the same time.

I will tell you where you got my attention though, all the animal abuse, made me really angry, this is not a game for cat lovers guys, that said, very realistic, and the game does not shy away from exploring very troubled individuals.
