What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
There is also a good deal of replayability; probably 100-200 hours worth to get all the achievements.
26 hours in and i think i finally fully understand all the game mechanics, its fun, only played first map and a bit of multiplayer.
I love the art style and the hand drawn maps but i do wish there was a way to have randomly generated ones. one negative that i would like to stress is that even though the maps are handmade most of them are not well balanced, this isnt much of an problem in single player (and can even lead to really fun challenges) but if you want to play online with friends then i can see that being an issue.
The interface is clean, the pacing brisk, and the goals straightforward.
With it's simple artwork and beautiful sound track, balanced game mechanics with deep strategy aspects.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 2 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
