Outlanders

This is a great little city builder that is broken down into individual level challenges but also has a sandbox mode when you want to keep playing after completing the story.

Outlanders stands out with its original graphics that create a pleasant visual experience.

The campaign mode is an absolute delight, as it unfolds through a series of increasingly complex mission-based levels.

There were a few stages that managed to balance the difficulty with the stage goal, and those were my favourites.

It's also great on steam deck, which is where I mostly play.

The music and sound design contribute to this sense of calm, providing subtle atmospheric cues rather than bombastic feedback.
