Astrea: Six-Sided Oracles

With elegant mechanics, beautiful art direction, and consistently strong performance (especially on Steam Deck), this one stuck with me.

What i liked: For one the artstyle is so beautiful, it won't absolutely blow you away but it is still very eyecatching and unique of an artstyle, it fits the setting so well, continuing on from this point, i love the consistency in character design and the design theming (that being astronomy and the stars), especially as an artist myself.

The art style leans heavily into that mystic-sci-fi vibe, with Oracles that look like stained glass windows crossed with alien monks.

Every song does well to capture what the player is up against at different parts of the story, and helps to increase immersion, while also providing tunes that may stick around in your head even after you put the game down for the night.

Its innovative dice-based combat system and dual-damage mechanics are intriguing, and the game’s visual and audio design is top-notch.

Music - Astrea features an engaging orchestral soundtrack, complete with live instruments.
