On top of all that, it does a great job of wrapping everything up in an awesome, wholesome story about the importance of family and being there for each other.
On top of that, the art style is just lovely.
While many modern indie RPGs combine life-simulation mechanics with adventure gameplay, Town of Zoz manages to carve out its own identity through its heartfelt themes, memorable setting, and unique focus on food as a means of connecting people.
I wish there was more voice acting, even if it was something as simple as the characters making a noise per speech bubble (there are some times where characters don't make a sound for three speech bubbles)
