Visuals are 2D without many motion effects but it does build up the world very well - reflecting the looks of multiple different cities in China at that historic moment when the country was colonized.

I liked the art style of this game a lot but I do wish the models of the characters when you are walking around were not chibi, or at least a little more detailed because I love the character design and details on the models that are on screen when they have their text boxes up.
