is a gamer as the gameplay is near perfect TD style with its own unique flavor and a couple of changes from vanilla TDs that really work well and add another layer of strategy on top.
The graphics, while mobile-ish, also have some great touches - the spirits/towers change in appearance depending on how you upgrade them, so you can have multiple towers of the same type yet they look very different.
The sense of discovery in finding efficient combinations keeps players engaged long after the initial campaign levels are cleared.
The game is surprisingly sluggish with simple things like going back to the menu screen, etc. often taking a full 20-25 seconds to go back to the main menu after finishing a level.
