If you try to button mash, it will punish you for that - but the combos are so basic, that you can string whatever combination of melee, spell, or cloak abilities with seamless transition if you pay attention to your cooldowns and or mana usage.

Even though there is no voice acting, the writing, characters, and story are absolutely hilarious, and the lore is beyond clever. the different spells, special attacks, and main weapons are very fun and very different from each other, which adds so much to replayability.
