Wave dashing without jump squat, fast movement and moves, and just a really snappy and responsive movement system that's incredibly fun to play with. this is probably the most POLISHED part of the game, I don't really have any gripes with the gameplay other than weird knockback hurtbox scaling issues and shields being coded in a way that breaks its own rules, as well as the base cast too.

It's a fun, well made platform fighter, with tons of replay value, and a good starting roster.

That small feature makes a massive difference because it removes all the usual hassle of syncing mods with friends before playing.

If you understand the control scheme and what not it can be very easy and addicting to play as a fighter, which is great for melee lovers.

The game includes mechanics like wavedashing, which immediately gives it a higher skill ceiling and makes movement feel incredibly fluid.

Another cool thing is the local multiplayer where if you happen to have zero friends/siblings you can add CPUS with various difficulties from 1-9.
